CONTROL PANELStandard control panel is fully equipped with all necessary engine gauges, AC meters, protective relays and warnings for most installations.

FILTERSCartridge-type, industrial-quality air filters and canister type oil and fuel filters are easily replaceable which means easier service.

WIRINGDC-engine wiring and AC-generator wiring are separated toallow for added safety and contained within individual fluidresistant looms to ensure reliability. Each loom terminates atthe control panel with industrial-grade multi-pin connector forease of service. Mechanically held plug and socket attachmentsprovide fast, convenient inspection and replacement ofsystems. Looms are “keyed” to prevent incorrect installationwhen service is required.

CIRCUIT BREAKERSFully rated mainline circuit breaker housed in vibration-isolated sheet steel enclosure, with removable cover plate, mounted integrally with generator set. Oversized electrical stub-up area is located directly below circuit breaker and can be terminated both vertically and horizontally which provides installation flexibility.Remote circuit breakers are available.

VOLTAGE REGULATORFully sealed regulator accurately maintains load voltage at ±0.5% from no load to full load providing a steady voltage level which is important for any associated sensitive equipment.

STARTER MOTOR, ALTERNATOR, BATTERIES & CABLESAll generator sets include industry-leading, high-capacity, maintenance free batteries, battery rack (mounted on the tank base) and heavy-duty interconnecting cables with terminations for minimal service requirements and reliable starting.

READY TO RUN, DEPENDABLE POWER.

TANK BASE*Tank base incorporates enhanced lifting and mounting points for ease of installation. Anti-vibration pads affixed between the engine/generator feet and base isolate rotating parts. Welded integral steel tank base is standard. Optional dual wall steel tank base for total fluid containment is available to minimize environmental risks and/or meet local requirements. Optional narrow skid base is also available for ease of installation.

ENGINEReliable Perkins diesel engines power these generator sets that deliver excellent fuel efficiency and product life. Industrial capability (approximately 10 dBA reduction) engine silencer is supplied loose. Service points are positioned for safe, easy access. All generator sets are shipped with engine, oil and coolant so they arrive on-site ready to run.

GUARDSComplete heavy-gauge steel guarding with access hatches to all rotating parts, including cooling fan, charging alternator and drive belts for easy servicing. Optional exhaust manifold and turbocharger guards are also available for added safety and/or if required to meet local requirements.

VIBRATION ISOLATORSRubber pad anti-vibration mountings isolate tank base and control tower from engine/generator assembly thereby minimizing vibrations from the generator set during operation and isolating the generator set from external sources of vibration when not operating.

Proven in the field, this range of generator sets are capable of providing reliable power for critical applications including: mini power stations, data centres, large factories, airports, hospitals, large retail stores and the financial sector.

A 50°C package option is available to ensure efficient operation in high ambient temperatures. Custom-built weatherproof and acoustic enclosures can be tailored to suit any application.

Providing personnel access and separate components for cooling, they make generator set installation and maintenance as quick and easy as possible.

SOUND ATTENUATED ENCLOSURES CUSTOM ISO CONTAINERS

Power Electrics is able to offer a full range of customised ISO containers: from bunded secure containagen products to a 13.5m fully sound attenuated system, all of which are housed within an ISO style container. As with our bespoke container, the custom ISO containers can offer both UPS and Switchgear Packages within the design.

BESPOKE ENCLOSURES

Enclosures can be engineered to mimic an ISO style container or have flat sides depending on client requirements. Depending on site conditions, the bespoke enclosure can be configured in such a way that a one piece lift can be utilised reducing on site cranage/installation time.

An in-house spray booth is used to paint all enclosures both internally and externally. We use the latest 2K epoxy paint technology to achieve the highest possible standard of finish.

DROP OVER ENCLOSURES

The drop over style has the advantage of providing a more cost effective solution with low installation time, integral weatherproofing and quick access to the generator set for maintenance. These canopies are particularly suited to situations where space at the site is limited and a slab tank is used as a bulk tank.

Power Electrics' 7 acre site incorporates a purpose-built, in-house acoustic fabrication facility, placing the company in the unique position of being able to offer you the complete power solution.

The new facility enables all customer requirements to be completed in one location. Power Electrics can support you from the initial technical survey, through to in-house engineering and manufacture, to full site installation of purpose-built acoustic enclosures to meet and exceed the most stringent of noise restrictions.

ENCLOSURE FABRICATION

SOUND ATTENUATORS Sound attenuators are tailored to the volume of air passing through them and the desired noise level to be achieved from any plan room installation.

The attenuation modules are configured to suit your specific noise requirement, giving full consideration to the size of the plant room, the size of apertures available or generator housing whether it is a new build or a conversion of an existing building.

Attenuators can be manufactured to be vertically or horizontally mounted. All elements of a plant room installation can be accommodated, including ductwork, louvers’ silencers and acoustic doors.
