Over the last couple of years, we have successfully expanded our services to include the offshore wind
energy industry. Our specialized experience with offshore oil and gas platforms, particularly the skills to
design and engineer offshore steel structures and electrical and instrumentation equipment and systems,
has made us uniquely suited for the engineering and design of offshore transformer platforms for the wind
industry.
In delivering our services, our pragmatic approach, combined with many years of experience, has

Tiger Pipeline
Connecting to seven other large pipelines that supply gas to various U.S. states, the
new pipeline was installed by Energy Transfer (ETC) to move gas from the Haynesville
Shale area in east Texas to northeast Louisiana. Iv-AGA provided the electrical and
instrumentation engineering as well as other design services for the 15 metering
and regulating stations that manage the transport and regulation of the gas from
the Tiger Pipeline. Other services include metering and pressure regulation equipment
and PLC/SCADA control systems, enabling accurate surveillance of the gas transport
by ETC and the operator.

Thornton Bank
The Thornton Bank offshore transformer station is part of the wind farm development by
C-Power. The wind farm comprises of 54 wind turbine generators with 5 MW to 6 MW
capacity each. The two main transformers on the topside together have a capacity of
325 MW, which is enough to provide 600,000 households with renewable energy.

Offshore wind energy generation is a rapidly developing alternative for producing sustainable energy.
Offshore wind farms are advantageous for generating wind energy in that wind speeds are typically greater
than onshore, unlimited space availability and their remote locations do not obstruct the horizon. Wind
farm turbines generate energy, which is then gathered at the Offshore Transformer Platform which
conditions the power for transportation to shore.

Panama Canal Expansion
Iv-Groep is part of a joint venture design team responsible for delivering the design of
the new lock gates that will increase the capacity of the Panama canal, allowing more
and larger ships to transit.
Self-Installing Platform F3-FA
The F3-FA Platform with a topside of 4,000 tonnes is positioned in 41 meters water depth
in the Dutch part of the North Sea. This platform is the first Self-Installing Platform of this
size. The platform has been designed according to the latest standards and is suitable for
installation in the Dutch as well as the British part of the North Sea. Several innovative
technical designs are incorporated in the design of the platform. The F3-FA Self-
Installing Platform was completely designed and installed in a period of less than two
years.
