any back-up services benefitour customer.

Our Engineering department can supply design calculations for your critical services. Technical people are on staff to conduct seminars for your engineers and to train your maintenance and installation staff in our equipped classroom. The testing laboratory is capable of carrying out quality control tests including tensile, flexural, strain gauging, glass content burn out and acoustic emission. You may be sure your valued order will be processed in our shop using sophisticated processing equipment like our sheet fusion machines with digital control that can fuse sheet up to 2” thick and 3 meters long constantly maintaining weld efficiency of 95% - 98%. Multiple filament winding machines, with digital console control can vary winding angles to create specific hoop and axial strengths.

For FRP equipment our Fabricated Plastics Systems absorption scrubber test unit is available to connect to a plant slip stream to confirm efficiency in scrubbing your difficult air or gas streams.

We maintain a promotional literature bank, which provides useful technical data on our proprietary products including pipe, tanks, armoured thermoplastics, mist eliminators and scrubbers.

We care about our products. We care about you!

abricated Plastics’ Pollution Control and Chemical Processing equipment has been supplied to customers in Canada, U.S.A., Yugoslavia, Turkey, Brazil, Australia, New Zealand, Czechoslovakia, Japan, China, Korea, The

United Kingdom, Chile, Austria, South Africa and Malaysia.

Turn key projects (design, fabricate, install and commission) include the smallest plating operations to immense zinc refining cooling towers. Challenging projects like two of the largest crossflow type scrubbers ever built in the world for the pulp and paper industry were successfully fabricated under trying field conditions. Fabricated Plastics’ experienced team of engineers, designers, managers and field installation personnel ensures that every phase of a project is thoroughly supervised and these teams are committed to do everything possible to ensure that work is finished on schedule.

production equipment are matched by a well-trained group of dedicated people operating as a team.

Fabricated Plastics people love a challenge. This feeling among us makes our company unique.

Challenge motivates us to do better and allows innovation to be harnessed to create cost effective, well engineered and quality built products. We are informed of everything that happens in the plastics field. We attend industry conferences, meetings and seminars in North America and abroad. Memberships in our industry associations ASME, SPI and NACE, are maintained. Our people undergo constant upgrading training programs. Fabricated Plastics engineers interact regularly with our manufacturing managers to develop tooling and fabrication methods for each project. New materials are thoroughly evaluated in our laboratory.

Fabricated Plastics people have the ingenuity, innovation, dedication and experience to meet the future challenges of our customer.

ur modern 80,000 square foot plant with headroom of 32 feet enhanced our ability to work on many projects at one time.

We custom fabricate from the following thermoplastics:

PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, E-CTFE, PTFE, ETFE, FEP, MFA, PFA, nylon, acrylic, polysulfone, polybutylene, polyurethane and PE.

In reinforced plastics we work with polyesters, epoxy and vinylester resins.

Our coatings /linings include plastisol (vinyl), epoxy and FRP.

Our designers take your concepts and work them into detailed, fully engineered equipment. We hold technology in the field of pollution control to the most aggressive air streams and in Electrolyte cooling for zinc refineries. A process for roller coatings used in the steel industry is patented.

Fabricated Plastics’ manufacturing strength includes hand lay up, and filament winding from FRP, equipment up to 30 feet in diameter. Fusion of thermoplastics at Fabricated Plastics has created a benchmark for the industry to meet.

Constant attention to quality on our shop floor with full time Quality Control Inspectors and back-up in our well equipped laboratory insures that rigorous manufacturing specifications are met and exceeded.

Personnel development in our program includes classroom tutorials and ongoing training in lamination techniques, welding theory for handwelding and fusion welding and material preparation procedures for bonding thermoplastics in our very important Armourplastic® (dual laminate) production.

Oy now you will have realized Fabricated Plastics is not a typical plastics fabricator.

In addition to offering a full capability of custom fabrication in all plastics, we are continuously upgrading our equipment and our processing knowledge.

We specialize in specifying plastics for those difficult corrosion, errosion and abrasion services.

We pioneered the use of thermoplastics like PVC, CPVC, PP, PVDF, and FEP bonded to reinforced plastics to create a new family of materials called “Armourplastics®” (dual laminates). Today Armourplastics® offer a cost effective alternative to titanium and corroding stainless steel.

For severe chemical services we have developed and adapted fusion equipment to create superior corrosion resistance to thermoplastic welding stresses.

New filament winding techniques and use of sophisticated reinforcements like DuPont Kevlar and

Carbon Fibre have created very strong, lightweight Fabricated Plastics equipment.

Our development and sourcing specialists continuously evaluate new material, material suppliers and plastic processing machinery. We maintain a large inventory of resins, glass and thermoplastic semi-finished products.

Fabricated Plastics expertise is not solely limited to large complicated configuration equipment and does not overshadow our competent

processing of the smallest of equipment requirements.
