Engineering Student Advising Packet UCO Biomedical Engineering: Pre-Medical Concentration
*Advising is MADATORY for students in the Engineering Physics and Biomedical Programs. What You Need to Do to Be Advised:
• Find out if you have a Faculty Advisor—Check the list in the Engineering and Physics main office or online at www.engineering.uco.edu/advising.
• If you do not have an advisor one will be assigned to you when you have declared a major in the department (see www.engineering.uco.edu/advising for how to change or declare your major).
• Download an Advising Packet containing Student Information Sheet, Advising Form, and Flow Chart at www.engineering.uco.edu/advising.
• Sign up to be advised with your Faculty Advisor. Before You Are Advised:
• Fill out the Student Information Sheet. • On the Flow Chart, cross off classes you have taken and determine
what you need to take over the next two semesters. • Print your transcript by going to Uconnect
http://uconnect.uco.edu/cp/home/loginf and sign in, then click on School Services, then Broncho Central Services, then Student, then Student Records, then click on Academic Transcript, and then press Submit.
What You Need to Bring with You for Advising*:
• This Advising Packet—Filled out before hand • Your Transcript(s)
*If you come to be advised without the proper documents being filled out or missing you will not be advised at that time. You will need to reschedule your advising appointment.

UCO Engineering Physics and Biomedical Engineering Advising Form
The following form must be completed and signed by both the student and a Engineering and Physics Department Faculty Member. Note that that the faculty member will not sign the form without having met with the student during an advising session.
Please note that if a course is required for your major you should take it in the first semester you are eligible. If required courses are not taken when you are first eligible it may delay your graduation from the program.
