1) Reading- Read at least four- story books from the given list:

Post reading Activity-

a) Go to the Suggested Reading Section of your School Workbook (page 122- 127) and complete

the

review of the books you have read.

b) Individual Presentation- You must present a verbal book review.

Points to be covered:

- Information about the author and the genre of the book

- Information about setting and character

- Summary of the story- about the problem and problem solving

- Most interesting part of the book

- Why do you recommend this book to your friends?

Add a punch to your review by dressing up as your favourite character or the author. You may

bring some props to create the look like impression of the setting of the story.

2) Upcoming Event- ‘DEBATE’ -Prepare on the topic “Should Birthday Parties be a Lavish

Affair?”.

Students need to prepare a 2-minute speech for or against the given topic. The students will be

judged on the following points-

a) Content b) Diction and Pronunciation c) Confidence

d) Expression & Fluency e) Presentation

They also must prepare a set of three questions to counter their opponent.

Way to proceed- (to be written in three A4 size sheets)

- Collect facts and opinion about the topic

- Write the rough draft

- Edit the rough draft with parents

- Write the final draft

- Students must submit the facts and opinion sheet, the rough draft and the final draft

- Final selection will be done based on written and verbal presentation.

paper articles related to diseases and food adulteration and paste it on page 15 and 20 in the

workbook.

CIA (Cartographer of Indian Atlas):- make a flip book, all you need is 5 political Maps of India and

fill it using your Middle Atlas (Future Kids). Always remember to have your Home State (Madhya

Pradesh) included. You can show your creativity by adding relevant pictures wherever you can.

(Eg. page-47-Taj Mahal in Uttar Pradesh, page-24 Tiger in Madhya Pradesh)
