This interactive, 60-hour program helps you develop confidence and sophistication in the use of English when dealing with various situations in the work place and interacting with native and non native speakers.
During the program you will be exposed to authentic language through case studies, and you will take part in simulations, role-plays and conversations.
• Emphasis is put on verbal communication and cross cultural issues. • You will have no homework. All activities are performed in class.
The program is taught in small groups of up to 13 people. You need to already have an intermediate command of the English language (Lower level) to be able to participate. So far more than 600 professionals have successfully completed the program.

The InstructorsMichael Robbs holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Human Studies from University of Bradford, UK, and an MA in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from St. Michael’s College, USA. Mr Robbs is also a teacher trainer. He has been teaching English for business purposes, as well as communication courses, on site, on line, and in-house, at the Hellenic American Union for the past 16 years. He has won international awards for excellence in teaching. His long experience, direct teaching approach, creativity and devotion to the success of his students can guarantee an effective and pleasant learning experience.
Lee Robson holds a BA in Modern Drama Studies from Brunel University, UK and an Advanced Diploma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from Hellenic American University. He has been teaching English for specific purposes as well as communication skills courses for the past 5 years. He combines creative skills with training to ensure rich, meaningful, and memorable learning experiences for his students.

Certify your Business English level with TOEIC®
The Test of English for International Communication
(TOEIC®) is a multiple-choice examination designed
to measure how well you can communicate in
English in a social or workplace situation. The test is administered on a
weekly basis, while you receive your results 5 days after the test date and your
Certificate a day later. The TOEIC® test has been recognized and accredited
by the Supreme Council for Civil Personnel Selection (ASEP). Please call

More than 1800 hours of specialized Business English programs have been designed in consultation with employers and have been delivered in-house on their premises. INDIVIDUAL PARTICIPATION There are two registration options:
• On-line: You can enroll by clicking the “Buy Online” tab at the top of the
course description page. You will be asked to login to proceed. You need
a valid credit card (MasterCard or Visa) to be able to register this way.
Please note that the on-line registration system cannot estimate any
installments. An automatic confirmation will be sent if the transaction
is successful. Your receipt will be given to you on the first day of the
program.
• On-site: You can register at the Registrar’s Office, Monday through Friday,
9:00-20:00, by providing a complete registration form and paying in one
of the following ways: a) cash: You must pay at least € 300. You need
to pay the remainder by November 3, 2015 b) credit card: the full fee
will be charged to your credit card and interest free installments will be
arranged if your credit card is eligible. Tuition fees are not subject to VAT.
PARTICIPATION THROUGH YOUR EMPLOYERThere are two registration options:
• On-line: You can register your employees by clicking the “Buy Online” tab
at the top of the course description page. You will be asked to login
to proceed. Please type the employee’s details as well as the invoice
details, exactly as they should appear on the invoice. You will need a
valid credit card (MasterCard or Visa) to be able to pay the tuition fees.
An automatic confirmation will be sent if the transaction is successful.
Please note that the on-line registration system cannot estimate
any discounts, so if you wish to register 3 or more employees in the
program, and thus be entitled to the 10% discount, you are strongly
encouraged to use the off-line registration option.
• Off-line: To enroll your company’s employees you need to fax us a
complete registration form. Please type the invoice details in Greek,
exactly as they should appear on your company’s invoice. The full
program fee must be deposited in one of the HAU bank accounts that
are listed on the registration form. A copy of the bank slip should
accompany your registration form if you choose this payment method.
Tuition fees are not subject to VAT. The Hellenic American Union will
not accept any registration form that is not signed by the employer or
the person responsible for training. Employers who enroll 3 or more
employees in the seminar gain a 10% total discount. If you wish to take
advantage of the LAEK subsidy please check the relevant box and we
will email you all the necessary information.
