CEFRThe Common European Framework of Reference for Languages
(CEFR) is an international standard for describing language ability.
It is used around the world to describe learners’ language skills.
The CEFR describes language ability on a scale of levels from A1 for
beginners up to C2 for those who have mastered a language. This
makes it easy for anyone involved in language teaching and testing,
such as teachers or learners, to see the level of different qualifications.
It also means that employers and educational institutions can easily

The Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) is an
English language test designed specifically to measure the everyday

EXTRACURRICULARACTIVITES
On the last Friday of every month, after the
Progress Test, students will participate on MT day.
On MT days students will participate in
activities including, but not limited to- Speech Contest,
Spelling Bee, Singing Contest, Sports Day and more.
This is a fun way to encourage students’ English skills and
build healthy relationship with the teachers.

RULES & REGULATIONS
4. For short-term course (below 4 weeks), No refund.5. In case of emergency (only applied to disease, accident or death in immediate family such as parents, siblings, spouse or child), 60% of the Tuition and Accommodation Fee for the remaining period will be refunded but when supporting documents (medical or any official document to support the case) are submitted.6. There is no refund if the student is delayed in arriving at school and if the student doesn’t show up on the designated date of arrival.7. Students are expelled without refund for violation of school rules and regulations.8. There are no regular classes and no refund for holidays in the Philippines (Monthly Minimum Classes: 18-days per 4 Weeks)9. Below monthly minimum classes, IMS will provide special classes with prior notice.
Study Holding PolicyStudent can only put his/her study on hold one time, and must resume thestudy within 6 months after the suspension takes effect. After 6 months,his/her suspension of study will be invalid and shall not be refunded orcompensated.
Medical Insurance1. Students must understand that medical insurance is mandatory while attending IMS.2. If a student declined to purchase any medical insurance, IMS is not responsible for any injury or loss suffered or caused.
Exemptions & Rights1. IMS cannot be held responsible in cases of natural disasters, wars,
unexpected events, airline delays or cancellations and so on.
2. IMS has no responsibility about accidents happening outside the school
premise due to circumstances beyond the school’s reasonable control
such as any loss of life, accidents, diseases, loss or damage of property
and so on.
3. Students can only be compensated by claiming from insurance company
and its policy.
4. Students must return his/her passport to the office immediately after
returning from a trip outside of Philippines. IMS is not responsible
for any unreturned passports.
5. Regular Classes are held from Monday to Friday, and are based on 5-days
a week and minimum 18-days per 4 weeks.
6. IMS has the right to change start dates, courses, and tuition fees as a result
of changes in exchange rates, changes in government laws, or other
reasons beyond our control.
7. Students who show no interest in studying or disrespect through poor
attendance, breaking curfews, violence and so on, will be given a warning.
If the behavior continues, student will be expelled.
8. Any damages done to the reputation of the school will result to immediate
expulsion. Compensation cannot be claimed from the school by the student.
9. IMS has the right to inform the student’s home and agent before or after
expelling the student.
IMS Students must agree and comply with the school’s terms and conditions, policies, rules and regulations before enrollment.
Admission1. All applications and documents must be submitted to IMS at least 4 weeks prior to start of each program - Duly Completed Application Form - Photocopy of Passport - Application Fee ($100, Non-Refundable)2. The letter of acceptance will be issued once the application fee is completed.3. Students must notify the school of any food allergies, illness, physical disabilities, and any other special needs that require attention4. Fees (tuition and accommodation) must be paid 4 weeks in advance to the course start date5. Students must purchase their plane tickets and study abroad insurance through their agents or on their own, after submitting enrollment application.6. Students must depart the school on agreed date. Course starts and ends on the dates indicated on the signed application form.7. Prior to changing a course or dorm, the student must consult with a school manager.8. Students applying for Special Courses (Exam Preparation, University Pathway) must satisfy the entry level requirements of those courses, otherwise Guarantee course students must follow special rules and regulations specifically.9. IMS is prohibited to delegate his/her classes to other students.10. Fees on any course that is less than 4 weeks will be applied to the new percentage system under the following:- 1 week: 30% of tuition and accommodation fee for 4 weeks- 2 weeks: 60% of tuition and accommodation fee for 4 weeks- 3 weeks: 80% of tuition and accommodation fee for 4 weeks
Attendance & CertificateStudents whose class attendance is below 90% cannot get his/hercertificate upon completion of the course.
Extension & Change1. Students who require an extension must consult with the school manager at least 4 weeks before your last day of school.2. Extended course fees must be paid 2 weeks prior to first day of student’s new classes3. Once the course starts and student decides to change to another course, he/she must consult with a school manager at least a week prior to the new course’s start date4. After the course start, the difference of the course payment will no longer be refundable.
Refund Policy1. Any student who wishes to obtain a refund should fill in the ‘Refund Request Form’ from the General Manager.2. Refund will be issued back to student within 30 days of refund request form submition.3. Cancellation and Refund policy is listed in the following table:
