Middlesbrough is proud to host the Stage 3 start on Sunday May 1.Sunday May 1 - Stage 3 - Captain Cook StageThe best in world cycling will ride from Centre Square passing Captain Cook’s Birthplace, before tackling a challenging 198km route to Scarborough with Great Ayton and Whitby along the route.

Tour de Yorkshire in Centre Square, MiddlesbroughJoin the unmissable atmosphere of Centre Square early on Sunday May 1! Being at the start also means you’ll see the riders close up. Look out for the Tour de Yorkshire caravan due in Centre Square at 09:10am. At 11.10am the riders are off!

The Middlesbrough route is available on lovemiddlesbrough.com/enjoytheride if you prefer to find your perfect spot along the route to cheer on the peloton. Stewart Park is a great option. They are hosting a family fun day to help welcome the Tour.
