Patented Screw-Clamp technologyOur patented Screw-Clamp technology has special teeth precisely matching the profile of the mesh, which locks the mesh deep into the frame. The Screw-Clamp and hook feature spread the impact throughout the frame to withstand powerful and sustained attacks. This makes it virtually impossible to separate the frame from the mesh - unlike many competitor products, where the mesh can easily pop out with force.

Tensile-Tuff security meshCrimsafe Ultimate uses 0.9mm diameter Tensile-Tuff security mesh, made exclusively for Crimsafe. The 304 Structural Grade high tensile stainless steel mesh has a 26.5% thicker cross-section than look-alike security screens, making it an all-round stronger mesh. Tamper-resistant screws Tamper-resistant fasteners are driven right through the mesh and into the frame. This binds the Screw-Clamp, the mesh and the frame together into a tightly integrated unit for greater security. Clip on coverAdding an extra layer of security, our clip on cover creates a sealed chamber, which conceals the fasteners and protects the system from the elements.

Why look-alikes fail where Crimsafe Ultimate continues to excel All security screens are not the same. Crimsafe Ultimate passes all relevant requirements of the Australian Standard AS 5039—2008 (Dynamic Impact test, Jemmy test, Shear test, Knife Shear test, Probe test and Pull test). In fact, independent testing has proven Crimsafe Ultimate is far superior to competing products.

Not all impact tests are the same. The Australian Standard AS 5041—2003 Methods of Test for Security Screen Doors and Window Grilles sets the required singular impact level at only 100 joules.However, the University of New South Wales at the Australian Defence Force Academy (UNSW@ADFA) recommends 200 joules as a minimum impact level, as this heavier impact more accurately represents a violent attack on a screen.

mesh that is held in by plastic or metal wedges. When kicked, the wedge gives way and the mesh can pop out in seconds.
