• Mt. Olive –Hartburg voltage stability constraint – Thermal capacity of this line is significantly higher than its current limit which is determined by voltage stability issues in WOTAB. Adding series compensation to this line or splitting the line may mitigate the problem
• Hartburg-Cypress 500kV contingency – Underlying network in WOTAB becomes the limit for injections into Hartburg 500kV substation. A new Hartburg-Sabine 230kV line may address this issue
