Therefore, the effect of drone noise on the community should be evaluated and analyzed for a better regulation, requiring a reliable prediction for the noise distribution in the city. Aim Develop a fast and relatively accurate prediction code to assess the noise-pollution by UAVs flying in close proximity to buildings Schematic of scenario Method Due to its high efficiency and good accuracy, ray-tracing is used for computing the sound propagation path. For the energy part, gaussian beam method is applied based on the result of ray- tracing to obtain the SPL distribution. 2-D ray tracing Preliminary results Using monopole source to verify the results for homogeneous media and linear sound speed profile. Method
