Details Globus Spirit Limited is planning to set up

installation of grain based distillery

Product and Capaity Grain base distillery along with 3.5 MW

cogeneration power plant

Impact on water

As some rivers and canals are located in the near areas so they get

polluted.

Imapct on forests

Forest named Premganj, Amargarh and Pratappur are located within

the area,they get affected.

Dusts and noise generation.

The project authorities must strictly adhere to stipulation made by the

West Bengal state Pollution Control Board.(WBSPCB)

Uses of personal protection equipments by all employees/workers

shall be ensured.

During transfer of materials spillage shall be avoided.

The company shall undertake CSR activities and all relevant

measures for improving the socio-economic conditions for

surrounding area.

The overall noise level in and around the plant area should be kept

well and within standards.

Distillery unit shall be based on grain based only and no molasses

based distillery units shall be operated.

Pucca approach road to project site shall be constructed prior to

commencing constructions activity of the main distillery so as to

avoid fugitive emissions.

The gaseous emissions from DG set shall be dispersed through

adequate stack height as per CPCB guidelines.

Coal storage should be done in such a manner that it does not get ai

borne or fly around due to wind.

Environmental Impact Assessment:The EIA process makes sure that

environmental issues are raised when a project or plan is first

discussed and that all concerns are addressed as a project gains

momentum through to implementation.
