One of our most visible programs is the food protection program. Our division inspects restaurants, grocery stores, mobile food trucks and temporary food operations. The Environmental Health Division actively engaged in public health inspections, investigations and trainings in 2015. The purpose of this division is to educate citizens, and protect public health and our environmental resources. Our division ensures that all sewage treatment systems that are newly installed, repaired or replaced do not cause contamination of drinking water supplies.
