Assessment – Staff work with each student to identify their skills, interests, strengths, education goals and needs, potential employment barriers and future plans. Students complete the ARCI test, a psychometrically validated career assessment which identifies vocational interests to facilitate career pathway planning.

Individual Employment Plan – Staff work with each student to develop an individual employment plan based on their assessment. The Plan establishes the student’s future goals and defines steps to accomplish them, including a budget.

Resume Preparation – Staff assist all participants in the preparation of their resumes and in submissions for job opportunities. Students also use our computer laboratory for online job searches with staff assistance.

Interview Coaching – Participants received personalized tips and support to prepare for job interviews. Staff assist in coordinating job interviews and with transportation as needed.

Job Search – Students learn how to look for job opportunities in Puerto Rico and off the Island. Staff provides labor market and other relevant information.

Employer Integration – Staff schedule employers to visit students during training to offer employment orientations and

conduct interviews. Job Fairs are held at PathStone sites for our participants.

Job Development – Staff identifies employers’ needs to structure training and offer stackable credentials, and negotiates with employers to insure graduates are hired.

Supportive Services – Need-based services to support training and employment success include transportation, fuel assistance, medical exams required for employment, licensing fees, and job materials or equipment.

Education Services – Remediation and High School Diploma instruction are offered through Northern Research and Training Institute to insure employment success.

Follow-Up – Coaching, placement and retention services continue for one year. After job placement, monthly follow ups assure that graduates retain employment.
