“Dear student: In the past years a high number of programmes dealing with Sustainability and Corporate Responsibility issues have come on to the market. Some of them lay more stress on accountability, some on environmental management, some on marketing and communication. We can say the EOI´s IMSD is one of the best in reaching a practical and realistic integration of environmental protection and social development with business management. When a student fi nishes this Master, he will have the skills to plan and
communicate sustainable & corporate responsible strategies in multinational companies, co-ordinate environmental and social sustainable programmes within international organisations, work in NGOs and other institutions as well as motivate teams to make from sustain-ability the core objective of projects.
Students will also enjoy the prestige of having studied at one of the most respected Spanish Business Schools with more than 50 years of experience, located right in the core of Madrid University Campus”.

“Thanks to this Master, I had the chance to open my mind to a large collection of ideas and possibilities. It allowed me to learn from the experience of my professors, but above all, from the different experiences of my colleagues, which was undoubtedly the most positive aspect of the course.
All this gave me the opportunity to work in one of the most powerful consulting companies in Sustainable Development in Spain, putting into practice what I learned and enjoying it at the same time!.”

EOI-Business School, very sensitive and close to the Company’s training demands has always tried to meet the challenges set by the business sector. It provides students with postgraduate training that can subsequently be applied in the company, and a global vision of the corporate world.
As regards training, collaboration with companies is fundamental since they contribute to postgraduate programme design and provide knowledge about real business situations and opportunities for our students. In order to make this close relationship between the School and the Company fully operative and effective,as well as to keep a careful balance between classroom training and companywork placements, EOI’s specialist programmes have an Advisory Council.
This Council consists of managers and directors from leading, prestigious companies. The participation of the Advisory Council has become formally engaged by means of collaboration agreements between EOI and the Company. The main objective of these agreements is the Company participation in EOI throughthe programmes, their design and many other initiatives such as the possibilityof internships for our highly skilled young students.

“The IMSD offered me the possibility to acquire the necessary knowledge on environmental, economic and social issues in order to understand how each factor contributes to the success of Sustainability and helps to identify potential barriers.
Being part of an International Master is also an important element for the student´s “profi t account” at the end of the year. Not only having international lectures and classmates adds value to the master; you will also notice the importance of considering Sustainability as a global matter since each country has a fundamental role in it.
Therefore, I consider there is indeed a place in this Master for a wide range of academic and professional profi les and what is more, it is just right for peoplewho have important challenges and an entrepreneurial spirit.”

“The ISMD gave me the opportunity to understand Sustainability from an international approach as well as the business world. Moreover I improved my English, lived a powerful experience sharing with my classmates a common objective and made new friends.
Finally, I was offered a work placement in one of the biggest companies in Italy within the energy and gas sector. I still continue working in that same company and really enjoy my daily job”.

During the past years the number of students coming from other Spanish regions and other countries has quickly increased and currently represents more than 50% of our students reading a master at EOI.
You may be one of these candidates coming to study in EOI Madrid. The Welcomeoi Programme tries to make this easier; with this programme we try to make you “feel at home”:
Accommodation Offi ce: the school makes easier for you the search of accommodation in Madrid and you will be able to get in touch with other students also willing to share an apartment.
Languages: if there are enough students interested in a given language, we facilitate language classes in a schedule compatible with the Master. The cost of language classes is not included in the cost of the Master.
Funding: EOI provides information about the scholarships available outside and inside the school (requirements, documents needed and deadlines…)
Cultural activities are partially fi nanced by the school.
Sports: sports competitions are organised among the EOI students who want to participate (soccer, basket-ball, golf, paddle…)
