Design context book placed on a shelf or plinth, withsupporting banner which could include all of thestudio details from inside the book as a referanceposter. Interchangably the background could includeblown up spreads from inside the book as in [A] andin proposal board 2.

Rhubarb magazine identity and spreads, the standcould also work well without this panel if there wasa restriction. Could also be used interchangablywith [B] if a higher impact less detailed board waspreferred.

As in proposal 1, Typographic design brief cognoscolarge letters could be used for impact with wholealphabet or quotes as further details.

[2]

Design context book placed on a shelf or plinth,with supporting banner including layout artwork.Alternatively the background could the referancebanner as in proposal 1.

[3]

A third pannel presented collaboratively with NiallHargrave could convey the magazine identity byshowing the magazine spreads and editorial work.The positioning of the boards could be constructedsimilarly to that in diagram [A] and [B] .

Other aspects of the project which could be includedare the bespoke display typeface (examples shown onNialls Propsal Board) or the limted edition promotional

posters (screen printed [D]). The screen prints couldbe wall hung as in diagram [C].

Wall hung display.

Wall hung prints promoting typeface could be wallhung as in diagram [1]. Prints would be produced asspecial edition prints especially for the end of yearshow. screen printing and other processes would beused.

An additional plinth displaying design contextpublication as an interactive element as shown by [2]would be preferable.
