Manta Port Authority started to operate again the port after 2 years of failed concession.
Geographically, Manta is the closest WCSA port to Asia. It is located 25 miles away from the international shipping routes and 600 nautical miles away from the Panama Canal.

The port of Guayaquil is the largest port terminal in the country and the only one that operates under two concessionaries:*Andipuerto Guayaquil S.A.*Contecon Guayaquil S.A.
In 1999, the grain and multiporpose terminal was given into concession to Andipuerto Guayaquil for 25 years.

The only one commercial port of its state that has not concessioned facilities. Its current Board is promoting a model of modernization in which concession is not considered.
INFRASTRUCTUREAND FACILITIESLocated in the province of El Oro, Puerto Bolívar emerges mainly as a banana port, the export of this product reaches 90% of port movement. The difference is shellfish, mangoes, pineapple, broccoli, others. Aditionally, imports of paper, general cargo, pipes, spare parts and vehicles.
