Usage type EPC provides the basic portal capabilities of SAP NetWeaver$ and provides more

fle&ibility #hen implementing a portal #here the full enterprise portal capabilities are not needed

information sources, enterprise applications, information repositories, databases and services

across organizational and technical boundaries—all integrated into a single user experience.
