Founded by John Schott and Matt Quinn in 1995, EPIC has grown into a national leading supplier of modular process systems, machine vision systems, packaging lines, and automation systems.

EPIC utilizes a customized design-build approach for projects. Project development includes: concept, development, design engineering, integration, automation (process, line, and controls), plant and modular fabrication, construction management and installation, start-up, support, and commissioning.

EPIC was founded on the idea that manufacturers need better solutions. Through our Front-End Engineering process, project management philosophies and company values, we provide solutions that help manufacturers do it better. We focus on quality and longevity when selecting equipment and materials of construction, applying our plant engineering experience and assisting clients to identify needs. EPIC pinpoints objectives and provides the most appropriate manufacturing equipment for each application.

As an integral part of our focus on delivering turnkey systems, EPIC maintains an in-house advanced automation division. EPIC's

experience in automation ranges from simple to complex process systems and packaging line systems. Many companies perform advanced automation at the end of a project, as an add-on to the system. EPIC is involved from engineering design through fabrication, electrical installation and commissioning.

Our turnkey capability and in-house fabrication facility allows us to perform faster, deliver what we promise and provide elegant solutions that are more efficient and minimize common problems. The automation and fabrication process is overseen by our team of automation, chemical and mechanical

ADVANCED AUTOMATION

We start by developing a project scope and extracting your success metrics. Our team works with yours to create preliminary designs and identify required hardware/equipment and define your automation and manufacturing goals.

AUTOMATION CONTROLS DESIGN

Our team develops the programming and layout of the physical control panels required for your Advanced Automation engineering system. We design and program systems for a variety of platforms and will work with you to select the best one for your application. 

CONTROLS ENGINEERING & PROGRAMMING

Our in-house panel fabrication and assembly team builds and assembles all the required control cabinets, hardware and wiring for your automation solution. Our control systems offer a variety of flexible options, following all GMP standards.

FABRICATION

We make sure systems are fully installed, functioning properly and handed off successfully to your team before declaring the project complete. We pre-test all control panels before shipment to ensure faster start-up on site.

FACTORY ACCEPTANCE TESTING

Our focus during installation is to create as little downtime as possible. We coordinate install to have minimal impact on your existing operations. We install all programming and software upgrades, any pre-fabricated control panels, and make any power distribution changes or site modifications, as needed.

SHIPPING & INSTALLATION

You can count on EPIC to support you in this transition and make sure you have operations manuals, training, recommended spare parts list, full documentation and continuing support. Including integrating new controls with existing plant systems for seamless communication.
