• Wax area to be treated

• The Activator was developed with a high Ph. in order to enlarge the pores

and increase the hair shaft gate by 4 times.

• This allows the toner B to penetrate faster and deeper into the skin therefore

to stop cell division at the root of the hair canal.

• The Activator also contains ingredients that keep the hair shaft hygienic.


Step 3

• The Toner (Inhibitor) is composed of the expertly chosen ingredients that

affect live cells at the base of the hair tunnel to render them incapable of

producing any more hair growth.

• The Toner limits the amount of respiration activity to the dividing cell

exclusively in the epidermis layer.

• The hair tunnel needs to be totally clear of hair follicles.

• It is important that the hair shaft and root seed are totally removed through

the epilating process. Therefore excellent waxing technique and Epilfree

recommended wax are critical for best results!

• Avoid any contact with water and refrain from washing the treated areas for 6 hours

after treatment

• Avoid exercise or sweating for at least 6 hours after treatment

• Do not apply any lotion, make up cream or ointment on the treated area for at least 6

hours after treatment

• After 6 hours you may wash the treated area with soap and water, shower or bathe

as normal

• Maintain a rigid treatment schedule without breaks (the treatment sequence is

determined by the length of hairs and not by time – optimal waxing and hair length

range is 2.5mm to 5.0mm) This improves outcome!

• Avoid tweezing or waxing between treatments

• Avoid sun exposure to treated area 24 hours after treatment

• Address the clients expectations and treatments procedures – “manage expectations”

• Ensure each client completes a client card, is tested for sensitivity before full treatment

• Client must arrive for treatment with clean skin. (no make up, lotion or oil should be

applied on area to be treated)

• On warm days, treatment should be performed in an air conditioned room to

prevent sweating


• Only wax hair that is 2.5 to 5.0mm in length to ensure hair pulled includes the root

• Your client should come back for next session once their hair reaches length of 2.5-5mm

• Timing is critical – make sure you use a TIMER to keep track of time


• Do not treat with open or bleeding sores.

• Do not treat pregnant or breast-feeding women

• Wear gloves that do not contain any powder for the application of the Epilfree toner

• There is no limit to exposure to sun, except for the first 24 hours post treatment when

sunlight should be avoided due to possible sensitivity of waxing

• Epilfree contains natural active ingredients that may cause sensitive reactions in

some clients

• Epilfree products are made from all natural ingredients. In clinical studies, no side effects

were found for these natural ingredients, however, SENSITIVITY TEST should be

performed on a small area of skin to ensure that the Epilfree Epilation Treatment Wax

and EpilFree combination does not create any adverse reaction. It is not necessary to

use the Activator when performing the sensitivity test.

• It is impossible to predict the treatment outcome in advance; the results may vary from

person to person, and from one body part to the next.

EPILATION WAX step

• Ensure the wax you use is the Epilfree Epilation Treatment Wax, as it is specifically

formulated to not leave film or residue and to maximize treatment effectiveness

• We recommend Freeliss wax by Epyliss


EPILATION WAX step

• Make sure skin is clean before starting treatment

• Identify direction of hair growth on the treatment area

• Ensure wax is applied in the direction of hair growth

• Do not wax the treatment area more than twice (may overlap 10%)

• Do not use any cream, oil or lotion post waxing on treatment area

• For best results make sure hair is pulled out form the roots

• Roots in wax cloth indicate hair is at growth stage – this is necessary for best results

• Divide area in small sections when working on a large area such as arms, legs, chest,

back, abdomen, to ensure no delays in timing of steps


ACTIVATOR step

(After a total waxing time of 1.5 minutes per area to be treated)

• SPRAY a light coat of the Activator for the body, or for the intimate areas

• The lotion should be spread lightly with a patting motion and not rubbed into the skin.

• Use DROPS of the Activator for the face and spread lightly to moisten skin but do not

rub on skin

• Use an adequate amount of the Activator to keep treatment area moist for at least

3 MINUTES. Verify visually. If area is dry before the Epilfree step or the treatment will

not be effective. Do not re-moisten.

• Wait 3 MINUTES before applying Epilfree toner.

• The the Activator expands pores to maximum size in 3 minutes

• Do not exceed 5 MINUTES of delay time before you apply Epilfree


EPILFREE toner step

• Before applying Epilfree, put on latex or rubber gloves so that heat is not generated by

contact of your fingers with the skin during the massaging motion. This will evaporate the

liquid.

• Gloves must be clean and powder free. (Powder clogs pores)

• Work Epilfree into the treatment area with a massaging motion against the direction of

hair growth, until all of the liquid is fully absorbed by the skin

• Apply the appropriate amount of Toner B according to the prepared area. This will vary

from ¼ pump for the eye brows to 4 pumps for a ½ leg.

• When massage is done, move on to the next area to be treated starting with Step 1.

• Remember there is NO post treatment to apply after you have done the massage.

How does EpilFree work?

EpilFREE is a patented system that is applied in a specific process to the hair follicles in your skin. It

contains a unique combination of natural ingredients that effectively stops the division of hair cells

preventing the growth of new hair in the treated follicle.

Is it pain free?

Yes, the EpilFREE treatment is completely pain-free, adding no sensation beyond that of a normal

waxing. The application of the Activator and Toner after the Epilation wax is similar in feeling to

applying skin lotion. There is no risk of burning, scarring or discoloration and no side effects have

been observed.

I have light colored hair. Can I use EPILFREE?

Yes, EpilFREE is the first lasting hair removal system that works equally well on all hair colors and

types. If you have blonde, red, grey, white or fine baby or vellum hair, EpilFREE will work for you, the

same as it works on darker hair such as brunette and black.

I have dark colored skin. Can I use EPILFREE?

Yes, EpilFREE is the first lasting hair removal system that works equally well on all skin colors and

types. If you have tan, freckled, brown or black skin, EpilFREE will work for you the same as it works

on lighter skin. There is no sensitivity or risk to the skin as there is with laser, IPL or other light based

hair removal methods

Is the EPILFREE treatment suitable for men?

Yes, EpilFREE works well on all people, men or women. As each person grows hair at different rates,

and men often grow thicker, coarser hair at a faster rate than women, additional and more frequent

treatments may be necessary to get the same full hair reduction results. Your Certified EpilFREE

Esthetician will consult with you on the proper course of treatment for your situation.

Can teenagers use EPILFREE?

Yes, EpilFREE can be used by all people regardless of age. It has been tested and show to be safe,

pain-free and without side effects.

Can I be exposed to sun or go indoor tanning when getting EPILFREE treatments?

Yes, exposure to UV light from the sun or tanning beds is allowed 24 hours after treatment, as with a

regular waxing. As EpilFREE is not light-based, there are no limitations on UV exposure.

How many EPILFREE treatments will I need?

A series of 8-12 treatments is typically needed to effectively reduce the hair in most areas. The need

for a series of treatments is due to the way that hair grows in stages; (only about 15% of the hair on

your body at anyone time in the growth stage). The exact number of treatments needed varies from

person to person and from body part to body part.

How long should I wait between treatments?

Time between treatments is based on rate of hair growth and that varies from person to person and

from body part to body part. For best results, the treatment should be done when the remaining hair

has regrown back to between 2.5 mm (1/8″) and 5.0 mm (1/4″) in length. This allows the EpilFREE

Epilation Treatment Wax to grab onto the hair most effectively. Hair at this length is long enough for

the wax to grab onto and pull it out from the root, while not too long that it breaks off at the skin

surface. For your first treatment, if your hair is longer than 5.0 mm (1/4″), the esthetician will trim it to

the proper length before starting the EpilFREE treatment.

How long until I see results?

Typically results become visibly obvious after 2-3 treatments, with a full course of 8-12 treatments

required to stop the growth of most of the hair. The speed of visible results varies from person to

person and from body part to body part but in general, about 10-12% of hair reduction is seen per

treatment. A slowing of hair growth and a lightening of the regrowth hair are additional side benefits

experienced by many people.

When is EPILFREE not recommended?

Pregnant or lactating women should not use EpilFREE. Do not use EpilFREE in cases of skin cancer

or other types of cancer. After a skin peel, allow the skin to heal completely before using EpilFREE.

Do not use EpilFREE if you are undergoing acne treatment or taking blood thinners. In case of any

doubt about your suitability, consult your physician before using EpilFREE. Only accept treatment
