NB: * THESE CARTRIDGES HAVE A REPROGRAMMABLE CHIP, AND WILL REQUIRE A JR INKJET “ZAP IT” chip RE-setter.See note on page 25

1. Seal the outlet hole(s) in the base of the cartridge with adhesive tape.2. Push the steel filling tube through the label to make filling hole(s). The correct hole(s) are positioned across the centre of the cartridge.3. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with the appropriate colour ink.4. Push steel filling tube into the correct filling hole as shown in diagram.IMPORTANT: The cartridge contains a sponge and slight resistance may be felt.5. SLOWLY inject ink into the cartridge. When ink overflows from filling hole cartridge is full. Stop injecting ink immediately.6. Unused ink may be returned to bottle. Clean syringe with water and dry for future use or use with a different colour ink.7. DO NOT remove tape from outlet holes. DO NOT seal filling holes.Leave cartridge to stand on a protective, non-absorbent surface overnight to ensure no leakage and to give the ink time to saturate the sponge.8. Install the cartridge and run a cleaning cycle as per printer instructions.

IMPORTANT: For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in cartridge. Empty cartridges should be refilled immediately.

NB: These filling instructions above will enable you to re-fill JR Inkjet compatible cartridge.

1. Seal the outlet hole(s) in the base of the cartridge with adhesive tape.2. Make breather holes using the 3mm drill bit supplied with kit (See diagram above)3. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with appropriate colour ink.4. Push steel filling tube through the label down into the cartridge of the correct filling hole. 5. SLOWLY inject the ink into the cartridge. When ink overflows from filling hole cartridge is full. Stop injecting ink immediately.IMPORTANT: The cartridge contains a sponge and slight resistance may be felt.6. Seal the breather hole(s) with the plugs provided. If the plug seal is not airtight, then secure and seal plug with strong adhesive tape. This seal MUST be airtight, if not cartridge will leak. DO NOT remove tape from outlet hole(s).7. Unused ink may be returned to bottle. IMPORTANT: Clean syringe and dry for future use or use with a different colour.8. Leave cartridge to stand overnight on a protective, non-absorbent surface to ensure no leakage and to give the ink time to saturate the sponge.9. Install the cartridge and run a cleaning cycle as per printer instructions.

1. Seal the outlet hole(s) in the base of the cartridge with adhesive tape.2. Peel back the bottom edge of the sticky label to reveal the sealed filling hole(s).3. Assemble the syringe and steel filling tube and fill with appropriate colour ink.4. Puncture the seal to the filling hole with an old ballpoint pen. (See diagram above) Push the steel filling tube down into the cartridge.IMPORTANT: The cartridge contains sponge and a slight resistance may be felt.5. SLOWLY inject up to 10ml of ink. When ink overflows from filling hole, cartridge is full. Stop injecting ink.6. When all colours are filled, seal filling holes with strong adhesive tape. DO NOT remove tape from outlet holes.7. Unused ink may be returned to the bottle. IMPORTANT: Clean syringe with water and dry for future use or use with a different colour.8. Leave cartridge to stand overnight on a protective, non-absorbent surface to ensure no leakage and to give the ink time to saturate the sponge.9. Install cartridge and run a priming cycle as per printer instructions.IMPORTANT: For best results, refill whilst ink still remains in cartridge. Empty cartridge should be refilled immediately.

(Do not use the filling tube)4. Fill the syringe and insert into the filling hole. The syringe will only enter into theCartridge approx ½cm.5. Inject ink very slowly allowing the ink to flow into the cartridge consistently. 6. Once ink bleeds through the vent hole and the filling hole the cartridge is full,withdraw about 1ml of ink.7. Place strong adhesive tape over both Vent & Filling Holes.8. Leave cartridge to stand on a protective, non-absorbent surface overnight to ensureno leakage and to give the ink time to saturate the sponge.9. Place cartridge in printer and print test print. If streaking occurs run a cleaning cycle.

Reprogramme cartridge with Zap-It before refilling.

Remove top right hand corner of label.

Use silver screw piece provided to make filling hole.

Enlarge filling hole with drill piece provided.

Insert plug providedinto filling hole.

Leave cartridge to stand over night on a non-absorbent

surface. Then place the cartridge back into the printer and run a

cleaning cycle.

When refilling, hold the cartridge upright and at a slight angle pressing

on the valve release button at the same time.

When refilling the valve button at the bottom of the cartridge must bepressed this will allow the ink to fill the lower chambers in the cartridge.

You will require the Zap-it plus, silver screw piece, drill and plug.

Now filling hole has been enlarged enough for refilling.

Now cartridge is ready for refilling.
