3 Slidetherollpaperedgeguideonthebackoftheprinterallthewaytotheright.
4 Attachthesinglesheetguidebyaligningthenotchesonitsbasewiththeslotsonthebackoftheprinter.Thenhookthetabsoverthetopoftheslot(markedwithorangetriangles).
5 Turnontheprintersoitcanloadthepapercorrectly.
6 Insertonesheetofpaperagainsttherightedge,thenslidetheedgeguideover.
Note:Don’tloadpapersideways.Alwaysloaditshortedgefirst.
7 Pushthepaperintotheprinteruntilitmeetsresistanceandholditthereuntiltheprinterpullsitinslightly.Whentheprinterbeginsfeedingthepaper,letgoofit.

2 InserttheSoftwareCD.
WithWindowsVista,ifyouseetheAutoPlaywindow,clickRun Epsetup.exe.WhenyouseetheUserAccountControlscreen,clickContinue.
3 ClickInstallandfollowtheon-screeninstructions.
4 Whenyouseethisscreen,clickthefirstoptionandclickNext,unlesstheprinterisconnectedtoyourcomputerthroughanexternalprintserver.
Ifyou’reusinganexternalprintserver,clickthesecondoption,clickNext,andskiptostep6.
