This camera produces faultless videos and photographs rich in colour and clarity. Another reason I’m using this camera is that it gives me more freedom when it comes to editing, and gives me more options when coming to alter the resolution and frame rate compared to the 1000D. I will ensure that a strap is securely attached to the camera so that it stays around my neck when doing shots such as; bird’s eye view and filming from the back of the car. I enjoy using this camera, as it’s the one I have used from the start of GCSE art and photography all the way through to a-level media. Because of this, I am extremely comfortable using it and know how it works; therefore if something was to go wrong during filming I can fix it as quickly as possible so no time is wasted and I can stick to my production schedule. I will ensure that I have two batteries and one charger, therefore I can extend the camera’s usage, especially when I am filming at a location for the majority of the day without access to any charging units. I learnt this from my short film last year, where my battery died, limiting the amount of footage I could gather. As a result of this, I am going to be more prepared with my equipment. I am also going to use a Velbon DV7000 tripod for divisions that need to be clear and still. I will be using this for scenes such as; the bedroom scene, the bus journey, and the photo booth. Equipment needed for my music video

The camera I will be using to film my entire music video is a Canon 600D due to the quality of the footage. This camera produces faultless videos and photographs rich in colour and clarity. Another reason I’m using this camera is that it gives me more freedom when it comes to editing, and gives me more options when coming to alter the resolution and frame rate compared to the 1000D. I will ensure that a strap is securely attached to the camera so that it stays around my neck when doing shots such as; bird’s eye

view and filming from the back of the car. I will ensure that I have two batteries and one charger, therefore I can extend the camera’s usage, especially when I am filming at a location for the majority of the

day without access to any charging units.

As shown on my shot list, I am going to be hand holding the camera for some of my scenes in order to capture an element of realism, for example during the powder-paint fight I want it to be fast paced, and will show this through natural camera movement. However during the more significant scenes, such as presenting the masks, I want a still, vivid shot that the audience can see clearly and almost absoarb the content, and therefore I will use the tripod to keep the camera steady and at the same height for these key shots.

An essential to the shoot will be the presence of an SD card; I will use this to upload all my footage onto the computer to save onto my documents and begin to edit. I will be using premier pro to edit my film. Since taking media last year and editing my short film, I am comfortable with using the software. I may also look into using after effects.
