Petrol injection is a product of inter-nat ional motor racing. l t was developed(bV Lucas, in th is country) to provideFormula One cars wi th smoother, evenmore vivid acceleration, with consistentrel iabi l i ty under the most severe dr iv ingcondi t ions.

Today, near ly al l the top racing cars aref i t ted wi th fuel in ject ion. But only ahandful of manufacturers of fer f uel-injected cars to private motorists.
