My Beginning:From Mountain to Sea
My journey started in the mountains. There was a terrible thunderstorm. The rain washed many of my friends away. I held fast to the rock that I had been a part of for several millennium.

Erosion
● Moving Sediment from Place to Place
I found myself hurtling down the hill. Bits of me were breaking off! I finally came to a mountain stream. The stream carried me on further.
LandslideAs my journey continued, more of my fellows joined the stream. There had been a landslide due to the night of heavy rains. The stream was brown with sediment.
RunoffAs the journey continued, water from the storm, in the form of runoff, made the stream swell to the size of a huge river!
Transport
The trip continued. We left the mountains behind as we were transported. Who knew where we would all end up?
Transport
The answer to that question was quickly answered. Some of my bigger friends started coming to a rest as we left the mountains. I waved goodbye to them because I knew I'd miss them, not because I'm a fan of aluvium.
Deposition
We continued on. The river slowed. Some of us got distracted and stopped along a curve in the river. I did not, though. I never did get the point of bars.
Deposition
Finally! Just a few of my smaller friends and I reached the end of the line. The surf was up at the beach. The waves pushed against the river and everything came to a standstill. Never had I been delta blow like this before.
