ERRATA In the October 2001 issue of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Volume 59, Number 10), on page 1252 in a Letter to the Editor entitled “Apoplectic or Apocalyptic,” the terms complete unilateral cleft lip and palate (CUCLP) and complete bilateral cleft lip and palate (CBCLP) were inadvertently printed as “central” rather than “complete.” In the October 2001 issue of the Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (Volume 59, Number 10), on page 1256, the News and Announcements section mistakenly reported that Eugene J. Jaffe, DDS, retired fellow, Scottsdale, AZ, had passed away. We sincerely apologize for the error and are happy to report that Dr Jaffe is, in fact, alive and well. 1516
