Option 1You have been employed by the organisers of the 2019 UCI Road World championships to be held in Yorkshire

Part of the bid promised a legacy of cycling in Yorkshire

Your job is to increase participation in cycling among young people (i.e., under 18s)

How do you “motivate” young people to ride bikes?

Option 2Using PowToon script and create a short (>3mins) summary of one motivation theory

You can choose to summarise a theory or focus on one specific aspect of theory

The videos will be posted onto ELE for current 1st years students to view

Read and review Curran et al. 2013 and write a 500 word critical summary of the paper

Go home early (and reflect on what drives your behaviour then consider ways of shifting from one type of motivation to another)
