For over 30 years, little has changed in Composite Resin Technology, until now...

N’Durance® is a revolutionary “nano dimer” composite for anterior and posterior restorations, which utilises 2 distinct new technologies; a unique nano technology for the filter and a proprietary dimer acid chemistry for the resin which helps delivery, high monomer conversion, low shrinkage and excellent compressive strength.

Septodont’s unique innovative mix of monomers comes from the Polymer-Induced Phase Separation (PIPS). The PIPS significantly reduces the shrinkage effect of N’Durance® resin, therefore delivering a composite with lower shrinkage values than conventional dimethacrylate systems.

Low Volumetric ShrinkageN’Durance® has one of the lowest shrinkage ratios, resulting in less stress on the tooth restoration interface, thus less risks of bonding failure.

Racegel® exhibits thermo-setting properties: the product is liquid at room temperature (T: 20°C) and turns into a firm gel when placed in contact with oral tissues (T: 35°C). This effectively creates a space in the gingival without applying any pressure, keeping the gingiva passive and the patient comfortable.

The gel is easy to place and won’t run or drip. The orange colour makes the product easy to visualise during placement and rinsing.

Racegel® comes in a thin syringe with pre-bent tips to better control the placement of the gel even in less accessible areas. There is no need to use special equipment.

The use of a retraction cord is no longer necessary, but is still possible if clinically required. The use of Racegel® allows easier insertion of the cord.

Apply Racegel in the sulcus, around the preparation and leave it for 2 min.

Rinse thoroughly and take your impression.

All margins and sub-gingival details are perfectly recorded.

And are visible on the master model.

ABRIDGED PRESCRIBING INFORMATION: LIGNOSPAN SPECIALLidocaine Hydrochloride, Adrenaline (Epinephrine). COMPOSITION: Lidocaine Hydrochloride 2%, Adrenaline (Epinephrine) tartrate (expressed in base) 1:80,000. THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: Local anaesthesia for dental procedures by infiltration or nerve block injections. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: Adults : 1 cartridge is generally sufficient. Adolescents between 14 and 17 and the elderly: usual dose 1.8 ml. Children between 6 and 14 : usual dose 1.35 ml. Children between 3 and 6 : usual dose 0.9 ml. CONTRA-INDICATIONS, WARNINGS : LIGNOSPAN SPECIAL is contra-indicated in patients with a known history of hypersensitivity to local anaesthetics of the amide-type or to any component of the injectable formulation. LIGNOSPAN SPECIAL due to the presence of a vasoconstrictor (adrenaline) in the formula, is contra-indicated in patients suffering from: arterial hypertension, coronary disease, vascular cardiac disease (particularly sequelae to acute rheumatic fever). SPECIAL WARNINGS: for professional use only in the practice of dentistry. Asthmatics should consult their doctor before receiving this product (contains sulphites). Caution should be exercised when the product is administered during early pregnancy or to nursing women. Do not inject into a blood vessel. Inject slowly. The cartridge should be used on one patient during one session of treatment only. ABRIDGED PRESCRIBING INFORMATION: Septanest 1:100,000 COMPOSITION: Articaine Hydrochloride 4% plus Adrenaline (INN: epinephrine) 1:100,000. THERAPEUTIC INDICATIONS: For dental anaesthesia only. Local or regional dental anaesthesia in patients of at least 4 years in case of classic or muco-gingival operations. Dental surgical procedures where bone removal is necessary. DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION: For most common operations, one filtration is sufficient. Do not exceed the equivalent of 7 mg articaine hydrochloride per kilo of weight. Dosage in children should be commensurate with their weight. The recommended dose in 20 kg child is about ½ cartridge of 2.2 ml. and in 40 kg child is about 1 cartridge of 2.2 ml. CONTRA-INDICATIONS AND PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Hypersensitivity to any local anaesthetic agent or any component of SEPTANEST. Deficiency in plasma cholinesterase activity. Patients receiving MAOI or tricyclic anti-depressants. Patients in whom there is a possibility that general anaesthesia might be required to complete the procedure. SPECIAL WARNINGS: Intra-vascular injection is strictly contra-indicated. Due to the presence of adrenaline, the product is not advised for patients with diabetes or thyrotoxicosis. Caution should be exercised in patients with epilepsy, cardio-vascular diseases and cardiac conduction abnormalities. USE IN PREGNANCY AND LACTATION: No clinical experience: the product should only be used when the benefits are considered to outweigh the risks. It is not known if articaine is excreted in breast milk. Therefore, breast feeding should be avoided for 48 hours after use of SEPTANEST. ABILITY TO DRIVE AND USE MACHINES: No demonstrated effects upon motor coordination, however subjects who suffer adverse effects should not drive or use machines until symptoms have resolved. UNDESIRABLE EFFECTS: Hypersensitivity, overdosage or intra-vascular injection may result in excitatory or depressant manifestations of the CNS and depressant cardio-vascular reac-tions. Rarely, hypersensitivity reactions to articaine may occur or allergic-type reaction to sulphites. OVERDOSE: Stimulation or depression of the cerebral cortex and medulla may occur after systemic absorption. Slow onset symptoms may include nervous-ness, dizziness, blurred vision, nausea, tremors, convulsion, hypotension, cardio vascular depression and respiratory arrest. Rapid onset symptoms may include depression of the respiratory system, cardio vascular collapse and cardiac arrest. Supportive treatment, particularly to cardia-vascular and respiratory systems may be required and should be readily available. PHARMACEUTICAL PRECAUTIONS: Store below 25°C. Protect from light.
