Army Navy Country Club…Founded in 1924, Army Navy Country Club has provided a

social and recreational haven to many of Washington, DC’s most

distinguished and influential individuals and families for over

eighty years. Since the club’s inception, Army Navy Country Club

has been a home away from home for many of the most illustrious

names in America’s political and military history. The Club has

been graced with members that have included Presidents Dwight

D. Eisenhower, John F. Kennedy, and William J. Clinton, and has

been steeped in a tradition that has served Five-Star Officers that

have included Admiral Chester W. Nimitz and General Omar N.

Bradley, as well as numerous U.S. Senators and Congressmen.

The CoursesDuring his time in office, President William Jefferson Clinton often retreated to the golf courses at Army Navy Country Club to escape the pressures of his office. President Dwight D. Eisenhower was known to refer to one of the Club’s particularly difficult par-5 holes as his own private hell. Today, Members and guests can follow in the footsteps of these past Presidents as they experience the 500+ acres that make up Army Navy Country Club. From the rough-hewn “Golden Age” architecture of the Arlington course to the softly curved “Modern Era” course design at Fairfax, Army Navy Country Club boasts 54 holes of the finest golf in the Mid-Atlantic. With seven sets of tees, every golfer from beginner to pro can find just the right amount of challenge mere minutes away from the Nation’s capital.

Golf Professional ShopConveniently located at both the Arlington and Fairfax campuses, the Pro Shops feature a wide variety of apparel, equipment, accessories and novelties for golfers and non-golfers alike. The Pro Shops offer golf attire from traditional to trendy, along with professional fit equipment from top manufacturers. The annual Demo Day is one of the largest in Northern Virginia, and allows Members and their guests to sample the latest and greatest equipment each spring. Custom club fitting and special orders are available throughout the year.

Sun and Shade, Swimming and Diving, Exercising and Relaxing, Competition and Training…Everything Water But the FishWith six different pools sparkling in the open air of its two Clubhouse locations, Army Navy Country Club provides its Members with multiple options and uses – everything under the sun! Members can be found sunning, relaxing, playing, swimming, and exercising by all of the Club’s pools! The Club’s outdoor facilities are open from Memorial Day Weekend through at least Labor Day (the heated Adult Pool remains open till mid-September).
