The city of Rize is located at the north-east region of Turkey.

In 1923 with the amendment of the commercial act, the chamber becomes legally active.

Today, the chamber serves for 3000 members.

The establishment of the chamber is known to be in 1892.

Next project is under the frame of IPA is decided to begin in 2010.

In 2008 KOBİDAM has been realized as being the first EU project by RCCI (DOKAP)

The key staff of the Rize Chamber has followed the Stockholm Chamber staff during a typical day observing and asking questions about the process.

With the help of the project trainings and the insprations of Swedish methods, RCCI staff are fully qualified in consulting the SME’s in Rize.

Strenghtend and broadend cooperation between the chambers to be continued beyond the project.

E-trade activity is now in use with in the web site.
