Current situation

TDX is a service that gathers ETDs from Catalan universities

TDX is an organization involving 14 participant institutions 11 universities 2 consortia (supercomputing and

libraries) 1 ‘national’ library

Catalonia

Autonomous region of Spain, 6,000,000 inhabitants, Own language (Catalan), University system of 8 public universities

and 3 private ones, University community of 172.000 students,

13.000 teaching staff and 6.000 administr. staff National Library (Biblioteca de Catalunya).
