How should lawyers ensure that they are getting the relevant facts from key employees, that they are giving useful and accurate advice, and that their advice will not be misunderstood, ignored or misused? How should they respond to suspicions and allegations of wrongdoing? When can they participate in investigation and when does their prior advisory role preclude their involvement? An experienced panel comprised of inside compliance counsel, white-collar practitioners, legal ethicists and former prosecutors will give their perspectives and practical guidance on these and other problems that in-house and outside counsel encounter in practice.
