– 50 Question Test– Case Study– Executive Summary– Community Involvement/Research

Presenter
Presentation Notes
We met with MBA Research in 2017 to talk through what the pilot Business Ethics event would look like. FBLA has a Business Ethics event currently in the competitive events program. It is a presentation event. What could we do to enhance the event? Enhancements: Test – aligned with the Ethical Leadership Course Guide from MBA Research Students take the test individually, with the scores averaged for a team (like FBLA Parliamentary Procedure) Those scoring above 70% receive a Business Ethics digital badge Case Study – takes the current Business Ethics topic and creates a specific case study regarding the topic Executive Summary – pre-judge component of a one-page summary of the case study Must interview 3 local business people as a part of their research for the Executive Summary and presentation

Colorado Pilot – Challenges• Communication• No 2019 District Data• Differences between state/national

guidelines once they go to NLC– 2019 – 4th place at NLC

Presenter
Presentation Notes
Challenges Communication – first year (2018) – advisers not paying attention to new guidelines (32 out of 62 participants took test) – this has gotten better! No 2019 District Data - State Adviser Error! – made district level a team test, not individual test Even though communicate with advisers of those going to NLC, do they update their presentation? However, we did have a 4th place at NLC in 2019!
