Evaluation of Ethox Blended Lubes versus Standard EBS in MPIF F-0000 (Test #3)Conclusions

Samples 8-1, 8-4, 8-6, 8-8, 8-10 had comparable properties to EBS. 8-1 and 8-4 were unacceptable for sintering because of Low TRS strength.8-6, 8-8, 8-10 showed similar hardness and density, but had higher sintered Dimensional Change, Lower TRS, and some evidence of residue on the surface. Based on the similarity of results between these three samples, they appear to be similar in composition. I think we should focus on these three samples, and try to figure out where the delubing issue is coming from. We may solve the other problems once we determine why we are having residue.
