Erasmus+ Sport objectives
• To tackle cross-border threats to the integrity of sport, such as doping, match fixing and violence, as well as all kinds of intolerance and discrimination;
• To promote and support good governance in sport and dual careers of athletes;
• To promote voluntary activities in sport, together with social inclusion, equal opportunities and awareness of the importance of health-enhancing physical activity through increased participation in, and equal access to, sport for all.

Work Programme 2017: activities • Support for collaborative partnerships (max. 400.000 EUR);
• Support for small collaborative partnerships (max. 60.000 EUR);
• Support for not-for-profit European sport events, involving several programme countries;
• Support for strengthening the evidence base for policy making;
• Dialogue with relevant European stakeholders.

Work Programme 2017: Priorities (1)
• Encourage participation in sport and physical activity, especially by supporting the implementation of the Council Recommendation on health-enhancing physical activity and being in line with the EU Physical Activity Guidelines;
• Encourage participation in sport and physical activity, especially by supporting the European Week of Sport;
• Promote education in and through sport with special focus on skills development, as well support the implementation of the EU Guidelines Dual Careers of Athletes;

• Combat match-fixing;

25% projects supporting the participation in sport and physical activity
