Installation/Training Simple installation – main effort will be on file formats – we provide sample files. Working with clients to create/test files is generally ½ day depending on application.

The Longer VersionData Exchange (DE) has core functionality that covers exporting any information from Sage 200 e.g. customers, stock and at the same time import any information such as:

o New customers o Sales orders o Dispatch information

Out of the box DE has functionality covering export and import of customers, stock, orders. These are managed by prescribed file formats and meet 90% of clients needs. We have added connections for eBay, Amazon and many standard website shopping carts. These are available as plug and play rather than requiring deep technical knowledge.

We are also happy to provide customised ‘translations’, i.e. if your client/end user needs us to handle specific file formats then we will – we have connectors for many standard systems and can provide an up to date list.

Installation/Training Simple installation – there is a lot of functionality in these products. The customer needs to be educated in

terms of awareness – we would recommend at least a ½ day on site/WebEx tutorial – this could be a day to

include reviewing the customer’s order process.

The Longer Version

and created an ‘outlook’ type toolbar on the left hand side –this meant we could add as many buttons as we needed. Consequently, the product has become a ‘control centre’ for sales order entry staff. They can work from this screen all day and access any element of Sage 200 they want. The buttons are context sensitive – select a stock item on the order line and press the stock enquiry button to return all details for that stock item.

Latest additions are upselling functionality – when a customer buys a torch – a pop-up reminds the user to sell batteries. We struggle to understand why any end user processing orders would NOT have this addon.

Technically this screen is simply the standard Sage 200 order entry screen with additional functionality added – basically, this means whenever Sage adds new functions to their screen it appears on our screen – it is NOT a new order entry screen – it’s Sage 200 plus a LOT!!

The screen has grown from a simple product that made it easier to process orders – basically the tradecounter screen becomes a full order entry screen allowing us to create buttons to allocate, dispatch and invoice in one click. Quickly we realised we were running out of space to put the buttons

10 Sec Elevator PitchOur Order Plus products take standard Sales and Purchase Order screens and add

functionality that simplifies order entry. The Sales Order entry screen has additional

functionality that adds value to the sales process – turns the sales order entry process into a

pro-active sales tool. 100% of our own Sage 200 sites who process orders have this screen.

Installation/Training A full day installation and training is beneficial – consultants need to demonstrate the configuration, including how to switch addons on/off and possibly configure for a per user installation. Familiarising the customer with the addons is time consuming and sometimes a demo environment is useful. Some Partners are including this module as standard in ALL installations.

The Longer Version

The product comes with a neat management tool to switch addons on/off by user. We need to apologise for giving away too much – it’s difficult for us to remember what addons we’ve got and sometimes quicker for you to ask – I am sure we will always have or can create what you need - Just ask!

The 200 Plus Pack has 75+ addons for Sage 200 that have been built up over the past 10+ years. Many are small time saving addons but collectively this is simply good value.

Apply Aggregate Discounts (MMS125)

Builders Merchants sell screw nails – boxes of 1000 with a discount if you buy 5000.

Builder buys 5000 made up of 5 stock items at a 100 each and wants a discount - this addon will aggregate the quantity break across the five stock items and apply appropriate discount correctly.

Adjust & Receive All on Goods Received (MMS195)

You order 100 units but the supplier delivers 99.

In standard process this leaves a 1 to follow order – which is never tidied up.

This addon quickly receives the 99 but amends the order to 99 to make the order complete – quick tidy up.

Created for an early customer with dyslexic difficulties who could transpose figures – 27 instead of 72 – our addons warn if margin falls below an expected set value.

SAGE 200 PLUS PACK10 Sec Elevator PitchSimply a collection of 75+ addons for Sage 200 that provides functionality that end users probably expected to be standard. At less than £10 an addon does it matter if you don’t use most of them? Many of the addons originated in the early days of MMS/200 when Sage 50 upgraders experienced missing functionality – it’s all in this package.

Installation/Training This module justifies at least a day’s training and setup – the end user needs to understand the functionality provided before they decide on their set up for dimensions, colours, etc.

The Longer VersionThis is the addon that replaces the defunct Sage Retail Module – only this one works. Rather than replacing stock records it enhances stock records, making it simple to create 100’s of stock items in different sizes and styles via a grid process.

This is then extended to order entry – both purchase and sales orders. Because the functionality is created via standard stock items, standard reporting methods can report across matrix and non-matrix products.

The matrix functionality has been combined with pro-active sales functionality via price promotions in the form of Multi-buy and BOGOF type deals, giving an additional element to Sage 200 pricing mechanisms. When combined with Barcodes and our Sales Order Plus screen you have a neat trade counter/retail front end.

Installation/Training We would recommend one day for both – the product is simple to use if end users have used a desktop version and they know their stock codes etc.

The Longer VersionThese modules were created in request for people on the move to access Sage 200 information and enter simple orders.

As usual things move on and we have call centres using our addons to enter orders in India for UK based systems – one of the attractions is the number of users entering data without the need for additional licences in Sage 200. These products enter data in real time – this is not a web database synchronising with Sage 200.

The fast powerful search makes this product stand out from other similar products – plus it actually works! End users are able to view, display and print orders – even from an ipad!

The amazing thing about these products is how functional they are – often using the web to access large stock databases in Sage 200 is slow – the search function on these products is amazing.

Installation/Training This is a large module and Partners should embark on some training before selling/scoping this module. We would recommend three days end user training and we are happy to provide this and/or train your staff.

The Longer VersionWSR is used in a number of varying scenarios e.g. a company selling /maintaining industrial kitchens where repairs/call outs are serviced by third party engineers, a medical drill company where all servicing is in-house. The product focuses on evolving functionality from serial numbered items in standard Sage 200 and extending this to an asset register with details on manufacturers’ warranty, servicing contracts and repair history.

Repairs/call outs are assigned to internal resources/external subcontractors and costs are tracked. These can be charged to customers or assigned to contracts if under warranty. An inbuilt renewal process is available and we are about to introduce a diary functionality for booking appointments via resources. Estimates and job cards are also available.

WARRANTIES SERVICE & REPAIRS 10 Sec Elevator PitchThis module originated from two clients asking us to upgrade an old legacy product for Line 100 – Beeline. Turns out, that although they both had a product called Beeline they had bespoke versions that were quite different. We took what we thought was generally required for clients operating in this market place and came up with a generalised module that focuses on the processes relating to selling, servicing and repairing goods under warranty and maintenance contracts.

Our Simple Stock Kitting module allows users to create simple Kit items within Sage 200, which are made up of component stock items. When added to a sales order, the module will automatically allocate each of the items within the Kit.

Standard Sage functionality includes its own Bill of Materials feature which is very sophisticated and complex. This new module provides a simpler and quicker alternative method of adding Kit items into Sage 200.
