Lanikai has taken us to every part of the globe. Being the wood junkies that we are, we cannot resist finding new materials to experiment with. From these travels we came across Zebrawood and Monkey Pod. Each produces a fresh tone unique to the woods distinct resonance capabili-ties. Unadorned by synthetic enhancements, this series captures the pure essence and beauty of the natural world. The zebrawood and monkeypod models are available in concert and tenor size, option-ally as acoustic/electrics with a Fishman Sonicore pickup. One has a thick, creamy, classic voice that barks like a rottweiler when pushed in to the tone zone. Channel Two has a tighter, springy and slightly faster character with a little more upper mids and a bit more gain. This amp has proved to be so popular worldwide that its specifica-tion remains unchanged.

The TH100 is an incredibly versatile amp packed full of face-melting rock and metal tones, but capable of cleaning up to a sparkly chime. Those who hear it reminisce about the now infamous Orange

AD140, an amp considered by many to have been the best lead amp ever made. The TH100 has only six knobs split between dedicated clean and dirty channels. Dial in everything from blues to country, classic rock to nu-rock, and then finish off by dialing the shape knob to 10 for the perfect metal tone. A power selection switch on the amp’s front panel, coupled with the option of removing two output valves from the circuit on the back panel, allow the player to choose between 100 watts, 70 watts, 50 watts, and 35 watts RMS output. It’s like having 4 amps in 1!

The MPR 211 is a desktop microphone with many different functions. Depending on the application, the operating mode ON/OFF, Push-To-Talk (PTT) or Push-To-Mute (PTM) can be selected at the bottom of the microphone unit. The different functions are controlled by a micro-controller. The Revoluto technology with integrated microphone cap-sules provides a so-called corridor characteristic which ensures a wide range of good voice quality. The compact Synexis RP8 beltpack receiver is ideal for guided tours and conferences. It can however also be used for multilingual inter-pretation applications. The receiv-er can also be used for transmit-ting the sound to hearing aids. A headphone or an induction neck-loop for persons with a hearing aid

can be connected to the mini jack socket (3.5 mm). The connecting cable of the headphone or the induction neckloop serves as an antenna so that the wearing comfort is not affected by a separate antenna. The operation range is approxi-mately 328 ft (100 m) with a line of sight between transmitter and receiver. The OLED display provides a brilliant, easily readable indication of channel, battery status, frequency and channel lock function.
