• Considerably lower participation in comparison to NSA
• Not all countries were represented
Possible explanations:
• New programme – more information needed• Less familiarity with EC procedures• Not enough time to prepare proposals

1. Highlighting LA specificities and promoting synergies between LA and NSA
2. Finding funding opportunities for good proposals that cannot be financed under CfPs (more time needed after the call)
3. Reduce unmatched expectations by more targeted dissemination prior to publication of calls
