Competition Format of the SynchronisedDiving Events
8The synchronised diving events shall be held as direct finals. All teams shall start with zero (0) points.
The dives to be performed in the Final are according to the FINA rules (5 dives for women and 6 dives for men).
Individual diving events on 1m, 3m and 10m will be held in two sessions with Preliminaries and Finals with twelve (12) divers.
The starting order of the divers in the Final will be according to the reverse order of their placing as determined by their total scores at the end of the Preliminaries. All divers start with zero (0) points.
The dives to be performed are:
• Women’s 1m, 3m and 10m events: five (5) dives from five (5) different groups without limit of Degree of Difficulty (DD).
• Men’s 1m and 3m events: six (6) dives from five (5) different groups without limit of DD.
• Men’s 10m event: six (6) dives from six (6) different groups without limit of DD.
Competition Format for Mixed SynchronisedDiving Events
9The Mixed Synchronised Diving 3 m and 10 m involves two (2) competitors, one (1) male and one (1) female from the same Federation.
• The competition shall comprise five (5) rounds of dives with dives from 5 (5) groups.
• Two (2) dives with a 2.0 degree of difficulty; three (3) without limit.• A combination of groups shall be allowed however a dive number may
not be repeated and each group may be used not more than twice.• The mixed synchronised events are held as direct finals.
Competition Format of the Mix Team Diving Event 10
• The Mix Team Event shall be held as a direct Final.• At all LEN Events the teams shall comprise two (2)
up to four (4) competitors of the same Federation.• The Mix team diving competition involves female
and male divers.• Every competition shall comprise six (6) different
dives, three (3) from 3m and three (3) from 10m with free DD from six (6) different groups.
• Two (2) are individual dives from the 3m springboard performed one by a male and one by a female diver, the other two (2) are individual dives from 10m platform performed one by a male and one by a female diver and two are mixed synchro dives (man and woman) respectively one from 3m springboard and one from the 10m platform.
• The Diving Order is drawn by teams, which will perform in four (4) consecutive rounds starting with any of the two performing divers. All three dives from 3m first, followed by the three from 10m.

Tie11 In case of a tie all tied divers proceed to the next round.In case of a tie in the final, all tied divers or teams shall be ranked in the same place.

• In the Mix Team Event: 1st place: 26 points; 2nd place: 22 points; 3rd place: 20 points and so on until 12th place. 2 points; half of the points in the women´s and men´s classification each.
Olympic Qualification13
It is confirmed by FINA that the individual winners of the Olympic events in this European Championships will obtain one quota for his/her NOC as continental champion for the Tokyo Olympics.
The Trophy shall be awarded to the Federation obtaining the highest number of points in both men´s and women´s events, according to the following system:
• In individual diving: 1st place: 13 points, 2nd place: 11 points; 3rd place: 10 points and so on until 12th place. 1 point
• In synchronized diving: 1st place. 26 points; 2nd place: 22 points; 3rd place: 20 points and so on until 12th place. 2 points.

Accreditation
16All applications for accreditation will be submitted through the LEN/Microplus online system. Each Member Federation will receive unique log in information from LEN in May 2019. Member Federations must submit accreditation data for any athlete or member of team staff with the potential to compete or attend the Kyiv 2019 European Diving Championships. This will form a long list. After this submission, additional athletes and team staff will only be accepted by exception. The deadline for long list completion is 19.07.2019. The accreditation will be concluded on site in Kyiv.
Federations entering the European Diving Championships will receive accreditation free of charge for:
1 the President of the Federation;2 the Head of Delegation;3 the entered competitors;4 one medical person;
5 team staff members:• for up to 5 competitors;• for up to 8 competitors;• for more than 8 competitors.
However, the number of team staff members may not exceed the number of competitors. Team staff members include everybody servicing the team: Team Leaders, Chaperones, Coaches, Physiotherapists, Interpreters, etc. (not officials as judges, referees, etc.).
Officials17Judges are not allowed to act as coaches throughout the actual Championships.
The LEN TDC shall appoint the Technical Delegate, the Referee, the judges panel(s) and the other officials for each event.
Federations may nominate one (1) or two (2) judges qualified on the current A-List of LEN.
Federations entering three (3) divers or more are obliged to nominate at least one (1) judge qualified on the current A-List of LEN.
Federation not providing a judge in the indicated category shall pay a fine of one thousand (1000) Euro to LEN.
Federation that has a B judge with good evaluation but no A judge on the current LEN list might be allowed to enter the B judge provided an application is made and accepted; the application is to be sent to the LEN TDC Secretary before the entry deadline for judges.
Nominations shall be submitted to the LEN Office no later than the date circulated by the LEN Office. Officials approved by the LEN TDC are on the costs of the nominating Federation. The Organising Federation shall supply all other officials. Acting judges may be evaluated.
Nominated judges should be available from the first to the last day of competition.

During training time and competition medical care is available on pooldeckwith a specialized team. An ambulance is stationed in the pool area for any evenience and on the pool deck two lifeguards are positioned in order to provide rescue in case of an accident.

The Opening Ceremony will take place on Monday 05 August 2019, at 16:30 with one diver per team.
The Team Leaders Meeting will take place on Monday, 05.08.2019 at 10:00 am in the Hotel Favor Parkfollowed by the Judges Meeting. A random draw will determine the starting order per event.The Judges Clinic will take place following the Technical Meeting at 11:30 am in the Hotel Favor Park. The title of the clinic will be: « Judging Philosophy/Main focus in Judging Senior Diving»Certifications will be distributed at the end of the clinic.
Before or after the Team Leaders Meeting we kindly ask the Team Leaders to check the National flag and Anthem.

For the Individual, Synchro and Team events, the finalists, will meet at the Call room fifteen (15) minutes prior the final starts, for the presentation.

All results will be published on the LEN website, on the dedicated web application and on the Competition website.
Please note, that the Award Ceremonies for ranking 1-3 will be held directly after every competition. The athletes shall be ready immediately after the final!Medals will be awarded to the competitors placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the individual, synchronized and team diving events.
Diplomas will be awarded to the competitors and teams placed in the final of each event. The«European Diving Team Champion Title» shall be awarded to the best ranking Federation in the team classification (men and women together).
