• 10.3 million IVET students in 2015, with a 4.7% drop since 2013
• 2.8 million students in combined work- and school-based systems (2015)

• Apprenticeship schemes are widespread in the EU and 27 Member States have commitments under the European Alliance for Apprenticeships
