Dear endosonographer,
The 22nd edition of eus Live in Amsterdam will be held on 6 & 7
June 2019. We cordially invite you to attend this meeting to bench-
mark your knowledge and see experts performing eus while they
explain their tricks and share tips. eus Live in Amsterdam is a truly
international course and is well known with trainees as well as
experienced endosonographers. Dedicated postgraduate eus
courses are rare and we are proud of hosting our course since 1998.
For this edition we have decided to rejuvenate our faculty a
little and invite not only very experienced but also more upcoming
colleagues. And we will probably also experiment a little bit with
one of our senior faculty members, mentoring one of our advanced
endoscopy fellows in order to optimize knowledge transfer to you
in the audience.
Our guest faculty will consist of Pietro Fusaroli form Italy,
Rodica Gincul from France, Robert Hawes from the usa,
Jan Werner Poley from Rotterdam, Anand Sahai from Canada
and Andrada Seicean from Romenia. Together with our local
Amsterdam umc faculty we will follow the well-known concept
of many live cases and a limited number of didactic lectures. We
hope you will (again) come to Amsterdam for this 22nd edition
and promise you a valuable eus-experience!
See you in June 2019! Jeanin van Hooft, Jacques Bergman & Paul Fockens
