In a hospice, the patient and their relatives are helped to prepare for their death.
The Bible says that suicide is wrong.
Christians teach that we should treat others as we would like to be treated.
All Christians believers believe that life is sacred because it is given by God.
Many people fear that they will die in pain, with no dignity and over a long period of time
Euthanasia is legal in Holland & Switzerland
Christians believe that suffering can help make us stronger. Jesus suffered, so maybe we should not avoid suffering
Euthanasia saves on medical costs for someone who is going to die anyway
Some would say that God gave us the free will to decide when to end our lives.
How could you prove that the dead person actually wanted to die?
Switching off a life support machine is accepting what God has already decided.
What if someone pressures you into accepting euthanasia?
Drugs given to deal with pain will often shorten life, but this does not count as euthanasia.
