EVALUASI RIWAYAT „IKRIMAH DARI IBNU ABBAS (TELAAH RIWAYAT „IKRIMAH DARI IBN ABAS DALAM LIMA KITAB TAFSIR: AL-THABARI, AL-BAGHAWI, IBNU KATHIR, AL-DUR AL-MANSUR, DAN FATHUL QADIR) Abstract: Tafsir bi al-ma‟tsur is a tafsir where the interpretation of its verses is sourced from other verses, from the Prophet‟s sunnah, from the opinion of the sahabahs and the tabi‟ins (through the ijtihad) his explanantion includes all what were intended by Allah in Quran. Tafsir bi al-ma‟tsur is considered as a good methode and source of interpretation. However, circumspection and carefulness is needed when addressing hadiths that were attributed to the sahabas, especially Ibnu Abbas, a sahaba who indeed did the most interpretation of the Quran. Many false hadiths (maudhu’) that were attributed to him. This is caused by his position as the family of the Prophet pbuh. Attributing the false hadiths to him will give a far stronger legitimation instead of attributing the false hadiths to other sahabas. Many tabi‟ins who became the disciples of Ibn Abbas such as Mujahid, “Atho”, „Ikrimah Said Bin Jubari et cetera. They are experts of tafsir who are disciples of Ibn Abas from the tafsir school in Mecca. Thus the madrasah of exegesis bi al-ma‟tsur may be considered as a product of the tabi‟ins. Considering the numerous tafsir narrations that were narated by „Ikrimah from Ibn Abas, as he was not only his disciple, but also his servant, thus the writer made marwiyah of „Ikrimah as the title of the dissertation with the aim to evaluate the mentioned marwiyah to reveal how far is the commitment of „Ikrimah to follow the method of his teacher and to know how far is the validity of his sanads from his marwiyahs.

EVALUASI RIWAYAT „IKRIMAH DARI IBNU ABBAS

(TELAAH RIWAYAT „IKRIMAH DARI IBN ABAS DALAM LIMA KITAB

TAFSIR: AL-THABARI, AL-BAGHAWI, IBNU KATHIR, AL-DUR AL-MANSUR,

DAN FATHUL QADIR)

Abstract: Tafsir bi al-ma‟tsur is a tafsir where the interpretation of its verses is sourced

from other verses, from the Prophet‟s sunnah, from the opinion of the sahabahs and the

tabi‟ins (through the ijtihad) his explanantion includes all what were intended by Allah

in Quran. Tafsir bi al-ma‟tsur is considered as a good methode and source of

interpretation. However, circumspection and carefulness is needed when addressing

Abstraksi: Tafsir bi al-ma‟tsur adalah tafsir dimana penafsiran ayat-ayatnya bersumber

dari ayat-ayat lainnya, dari sunah Rasul, dari pendapat para sahabat dan tabi‟in (melalui

ijtihadnya). Penjelasannya mencakup semua yang dimaksudkan Allah dalam Al-Quran.

Tafsir bi al-ma‟tsur dianggap sebagai metode dan sumber penafsiran yang paling baik.

Namun perlu kehati-hatian dan kecermatan dalam menyikapi hadis-hadis yang

dinisbahkan kepada sahabat, khususnya Ibnu Abbas, seorang sahabat yang memang

paling banyak menafsirkan Al-Quran. Banyak sekali hadis-hadis palsu (maudhu‟) yang

dinisbahkan kepadanya. Hal ini disebabkan oleh posisinya sebagai keluarga Nabi saw.

menisbahkan hadi-hadis palsu kepadanya akan memberi legitimasi yang jauh lebih kuat

dari pada menisbahkan hadis-hadis palsu kepada sahabat lainnya. Banyak tabi‟in yang

menjadi murid ibn Abas seperti Mujahid, „Atho‟, „Ikrimah Said bin Jubair dan lain-lain.

Mereka adalah pakar-pakar tafsir murid Ibn Abas dari madrasah tafsir di Makah.

Sehingga bisa dianggap madrasah tafsir bi al-ma‟tsur adalah hasil produk para tabi‟in.

Mengingat banyaknya riwayat tafsir yang diriwayatkan „Ikrimah dari Ibn Abas, karena

ia bukan hanya muridnya tapi juga pelayannya, maka penulis menjadikan evaluasi

marwiyat „Ikrimah sebagai judul disertasi dengan tujuan mengevaluasi marwiyat

tersebut untuk mengungkap sejauh mana komitmen „Ikrimah mengikuti metode gurunya

dan mengetahui sejauh mana keshahihan sanad-sanad dari marwiyatnya
