•GENRE

• The reason why I chose action/crime genre is because it fascinates me, I like to watch crime based movie with lots of actions. The institute that I have chosen also makes action/crime based movies. The specialty of that institute is to make these kinds of movies and they have produced blockbusters films. The theme of my movie is inspired by action/crime genre.

•MISE-EN-SCENE OF THE GENRE.

• The mise-en-scene of the dabangg film very much relates to my movie, The lightening is same, most of the action scene from dabangg are shot exactly the same lightening. In dabangg the bad guys are wearing same clothes( kurta shalwar and old shirt and pants) they have old cheap cars. In my movie the kidnappers are wearing these kinds of clothes and they a small old car. The house shown in my movie is a lonely house at the corner of road separated from every one, this relates to my movie because in dabangg the hosue is same like mine and outside portion of house relates to my movie. The kidnapped person is put in a old roo , dirty with low light same as in my movie. In Main hoo na movie family is middle class same as shown in my movie.characters are same ,the mother and her only son and the father is not their. This movie relates to my.

•PROPS.

• In dabanng the characters are wearing old dirty kurta shalwar same as in my movie, the kidnapper is wearing, they are also wearing some kind of piece wrapped around their shoulders or hanging on their shoulders, I have used same technique in my movie, He is wearing a piece of cloth wrapped around his shoulders, the car used in my movie is old , cheap and small same as in dabangg. In main hoon na the teenager who study in college is wearing a band on his wrist I have used the same technique in my movie but the band is being used by negative character. In dabangg the police officer wears band ( Black Threads) on his wrist.

CHARACTERS.

• Protagonist in my movie is boy. He is from a middle class family. As he is young and weak because of this he was the easy target for kidnappers. Same happened in dabangg but the kidnappers kidnapped the female character in the movie. The negative characters in my movie are of lower class who like to create trouble same as in dabangg.

• EDITING TECHNIQUES.

• The editing techniques used in dabangg are different types of transitions, photo shop scene,

sounds animations. The editing used in fighting is fast editing . In main hoon na the editing was slow

but when the action scene was shot the fast editing was shown. High editing in explosion and

fighting scene.

•TITLES

Action movies titles are usually written in bold and embossed form. This always catches viewer attention. I have used the same technique in my movie title. They are always written in funky style.

CLASS AND STATUS.

• Class is defined by in which group the certain sect of people belong to, category. Status has to do with their lives are they rich or poor, popular or unpopular. In my movie family is middle class and their status is in the middle not that popular and not so famous. In dabangg the police officer is a middle class but he has ha high status, every one in town knows him.
