Evaluation

The background

I started off by finding a background to do with reggae on google. I found a Yellow, Green and Red reggae-like background. It was bright and it stood out, so I had to change it by adding a effect on to it to make it my own. I added satin which adds more shadow and darkness to the picture.

Tree & Text

I found a tree on google and then I started to edit it. I started by adding a Bevel & Emboss this makes the tree stand out. I also added outer glow this makes around the tree glow and I added a drop showdown this creates a black outline for the tree to stand out. It shows the tree is the point of focus.

I made the text on cool text then I imported it to Photoshop. Made the colours bright and bold to do with reggae. There is a drop shadow around the text for it to stand out

Music note

I added the music note in and then added effects. I lowered the opacity so it looks like its on the tree and then I wrapped the image around the tree.

I got a picture of bob Marley and placed him at the top of my poster. I lowered the opacity to 35% so its like he is in the background. It resembles the sky in my poster

I finally added birds and clouds in the sky so it looks more like a sky and the unique thing about it is I added “three little birds” which he sung in his song. I lowered the opacity on both the clouds and they’re birds so it looks like they are the background. I added bevel & emboss and a stroke so the birds stand out.
