Guidelines for dissertation evaluation

Each candidate should submit 2 copies of dissertation to the University at

the stipulated time.

The external and internal examiners will receive the copies of the

dissertation with evaluation criteria, from the university after scripting the

register number and university seal, at least 2 weeks prior to the actual

conduct of the dissertation viva voce.

External and internal examiners should evaluate the dissertation prior to

the conduct of viva voce based on the given criteria.

External and internal examiners should jointly conduct viva voce for each

student based on the given criteria. Twenty minutes time should be given

for the presentation and another twenty minutes for viva voce for each

student. Maximum number of students should not be more than 6 per day.

The total marks allotted for dissertation and viva voce together for

university examination is 100. The evaluation of dissertation write up and

viva voce is 25 marks each. The external and internal examiners will add

up the marks after completing the viva of each candidate.
