DescriptionCharacterized by dryness, foreign body sensation, burning and tearing. Mild redness, often corneal and conjunctival staining. Many causes including decreased circulating hormones, menopause, lid disease, autoimmune disease, drying medications, meibomian disease, environmental factors.
