Evaluation Question 3

What have you learnt from your audience feedback?

Page 2: Evaluation Question 3

• Throughout my A2 year I received feedback from my target audience quite often, using different methods such as sticky notes, videos, social networking etc.

• By receiving feedback it helped make my products to a better standard, adding what some audience members thought would make it look better, but also sticking with my instinct and deciding what I like, which seemed appropriate for my audience and the majority had said that they liked the ideas I have/had

Focus GroupsI held a couple of focus groups finding out what people had liked about products

The reason for me choosing these people was because they are all of a similar age of what the target audience I am representing.

ConclusionSo to conclude, I have received audience feedback in a number of different ways which all in all has helped improve product as there has been ideas suggested which have made my products seem more professional. From my audience feedback I have learnt that in order to have a successful film package it is essential to ask your target audience what they want from a product, and how they think something should be presented. By holding focus groups it allowed me to put the person in the ‘hot seat’ where they say what they do and don’t like and with them being truthful about what they have seen makes the feedback more applicable. The social networking feedback also helped in making a better product, as it allowed for people who aren't media students to give there views on my work, showcasing a broad range of feedback which helped me out as it allowed fresh eyes to view my products, where as before peers had seen the run up to the products and seen it during the construction.
