ASLK - Installation Quick Start

ASLK  -­‐  Installation  Quick  Start   Thanks  for  purchasing  the  Adapter  Storage  and  Lighting  Kit  (  ASLK).    The  ASLK  is  designed  to  fit  in  the  trunk  space  behind  the  driver  side  rear  wheel  well  of  the  Tesla  Model  S.  We’ve  created  an  Installation  Video  that  can  be  obtained  at  www.evannex.com.    Quick  Start  Installation  Steps:  

 Step  1.    Remove  the  mounting  frame  from  the  shipping  box.  Remove  the  carry  case  from  their  respective  mounting  frame  cutouts  before  you  install  the  mounting  frame.    Step  2.  With  the  mounting  frame  positioned  as  shown  in  the  photo,  tilt  the  frame  outward  so  that  the  lower  “L”  support  fits  over  the  edge  of  the  trunk  deck  “step”  behind  the  wheel  well.

Step  3.  Push  the  mounting  frame  into  the  space  behind  the  wheel  well.  It  should  ‘snap’  into  place  just  behind  the  curved  plastic  body  side  panel.  Adjust  the  right  side  mounting  frame  tab  so  that  it  slides  along  the  angled  wheel  well  surface.  You  may  have  to  bend  the  tab  inward  slightly  to  accomplish  this.    Step  4.  Adjust  the  mounting  frame  to  be  sure  it  is  vertical  and  that  the  bottom  left  side  does  not  fully  block  the  lower  trunk  light  that  is  available  for  some  early  Model  Ss.    Step  5.    Attach  the  articulating  LED  light  by  sliding  the  clip  of  the  flashlight  into  the  rectangular  opening  on  the  upper  right  of  the  frame.  Push  down  to  seat  the  light.  If  you  choose,  you  can  push  the  LED  light’s  lanyard  into  the  opening  to  hide  it  from  view.    

   

Step  4.  Frame  -­‐-­‐  Vertical  placement   Step  5.    Attach  light  into  cutout    Step  6.    Open  the  carry  case  and  load  it  with  the  items  you  have  chosen  (e.g.,  the  charging  adapters).  Push  the  carry  case  into  place.  Then  place  the  elastic  cord  into  the  keyhole  cutout  to  hold  the  case  securely.    

   

Step  6.  Push  carry  case  into  cutout   Final  positioning  for  ASLK        You’re  done!    Congratulations!    The  ASLK  is  now  a  part  of  your  Model  S.
