Volume 29, Number 12 March 26, 2014
Are you praying for some people who need Christ? I hope you’re working with the
“Reach Out in Love” card available at the Welcome Center in the foyer. God may do
something really big in people’s lives if we’ll be faithful to pray and to love and to
share Christ.
And so we’re off on the road to the cross and the empty tomb. We caught a snapshot of Jesus in
the temple this past Sunday, a whip in His hand, a scowl on His face. Jesus went to the temple and
didn’t like what he saw. We considered some things Jesus looks for in a church that will put a smile
on his face instead of a scowl.
This week’s Passion Week snapshot of the Savior, finds Jesus, His face streaked with tears. Jesus
is crying over Jerusalem. Why? And what does that mean all these centuries later? We’ll consider
that on Sunday. See you then.
Your Pastor,
John
